DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

WE HAVE A COACH TRAINEESHIP AVAILABLE

Coach Traineeship

At least 12 hours per week | 3 months | Rotterdam

Would you like to learn how to coach group classes and help people become stronger and fitter? At Wildhearts, you’ll learn by doing. You’ll spend time in the gym, receive guidance from our coaches and gradually take on more responsibility during cles.

Our goal is to help you grow into a coaching role at Wildhearts after the traineeship.

What will you do?

• Observe and assist our coaches during group classes.

• Learn how to explain workouts, demonstrate movements and adapt exercises to different levels.

• Gradually coach parts of a class under supervision.

• Get to know our members and help create a welcoming atmosphere.

• Help keep the gym clean and tidy.

Who are we looking for?

You don’t need to be an experienced coach yet. We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes initiative and is open to feedback. You enjoy working with people and want to grow more confident coaching a group.

You also:

• Have a passion for fitness and health.

• Are available for at least 12 hours per week, spread across three or four shifts.

• Can work morning, evening and/or weekend shifts, and are willing to occasionally work on public holidays.

• Speak and write fluent English.

• Have a CrossFit, HYROX or functional fitness certification and a first aid certificate, or are willing to obtain them.

What do we offer?

The traineeship lasts three months, with the first month serving as a trial period. You’ll receive guidance, regular feedback and the opportunity to practise your coaching skills in a close-knit community in the heart of Rotterdam. You can also join our group classes for free.

During the traineeship, you’ll receive a fixed allowance of €200 per month. We’ll agree on your exact shifts together.

After successfully completing the traineeship, we’ll discuss the possibility of joining Wildhearts as a junior coach. The hourly rate for a junior coach employed by Wildhearts is €20 gross. Working with us as a self-employed coach is also possible; we’ll discuss that rate separately.
